With the Christmas season approaching we wanted to provide something with the big WOW factor, we have been looking at LED dance floors for a long time and finally decided to purchase a 8m x 8m illuminated dance floor.
The first outing was for a private event for 3 party nights over Christmas and New Year with great success our customer and there guests had only ever seen anything like it on TV shows, a comment from one of the guests was ’its like being on the X Factor’

Concept Marquees Keeps Warm At Christmas
January 4th, 2010Once again we have been kept busy this december with marquees for private partys, one of the biggest comments from customers is will it be warm.
We have great sucess with Heating Marquees during the winter period, we have a very big stock of Arcotherm heaters (EC40, EC70 and Jumbo 115 modles) the maths are very simple if you provide the correct amount of heaters for the size of marquee, wide entry difusers to distrubute the air flow evenly (these also stop the guests who sit on the table infront of the heater ducts from being roasted) there is no reason why you can’t keep the marquee at a very comfortable 24 degrees after all ‘A Warm Guest is a Happy Guest’

New Moving Heads Searchlights
November 26th, 2009Concept Activation has just added two new searchlights to its expanding range, Both units are high power DMX controlled moving heads, Each style of light has total digital control over Pan, Tilt, Lamp and Effect, two options are available a high power single colour with the option of a fixed colour lens and a CMY programable colour unit, lamp options are 2KW to 7KW xenon.

Concept Fireworks supplies Kimbolton Fireworks
November 17th, 2009Concept Fireworks was pleased to hire Kimbolton Fireworks a UHF time code transmitter and receiver system, and a number of motorola GP300 radios to use on there shows during November, we now own three UHF radio systems which we use on our Fire one system to transmit time code and DMX to remote receivers, we can also provide our customers up to 30 motorola radios to use at events.

November 16th, 2009Once again it has been a busy November, we sucesfully fired two weeks of displays starting on Sunday 31st and finishing on Saturday 14th. This year success was helped by a good experience team of staff who once again braved the wind, rain and the mud on some sites to provide some brilliant hand fire and musical displays for our clients.
Magic Of The Musicals
October 28th, 2009The Rotary Club of Kimbolton asked us to help stage a musical evening featuring singers from the west end of London in the Lewis Theatre in Kimbolton Castle.
Concept Marquees provided a 9m x9m clear span frame marquee as and entrance to the Lewis Hall, this was used as the drinks reception and interval bar for the event, indirect heating was installed and despite a cold evening the marquee was successfully kept at a comfortable level.
Ambiance was created by our New LED up lights these were installed in the marquee and were also used to illuminate the display stands.
Concept Activation also got involved providing three 5m wide, 10m long star cloths for the backdrop to the stage. Follow-spots, backstage communications and the front of house PA system was also provided.
The grounds of the castle were lit by 150W blue floods at the entrances and 1200W colour changers on the buildings, two searchlights were used either side of the entrance to give the event that Hollywood feel.
Fire One Interface
October 26th, 2009Concept Fireworks has just designed and built an interface to control a ILDA laser from our fire one firing software, this now enable us to fully interact a laser with and pyro musical show.
Activation Add Court black Box
October 20th, 2009Activation has just added a court black box PA system to its speaker stock, yes its old, big and imposing, but ever since we heard 30 cabs being used at a soul weekender we always wanted one, just stack them up, turn on and kicks ass and yes it always impresses the client.
